Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Project Manager who will be responsible for successfully managing the implementation of the systems within the Project Plan and in accordance with our Implementation Methodology and customer’s business objectives. Taking leadership in project planning, resourcing, progress reporting, project team management, troubleshooting and continuously maintain good customer relations while working with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Developers and other contributors to drive planning of projects. Ensure the project is on-schedule and issues are properly communicated, tracked and resolved.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define and document project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Participate in solutioning sessions internally and with the customers to arrive at the best-fit solution.
  • Ensure that all materials such as SOWs, FSDs, Design diagrams and Project plans are maintained and up to date.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders, providing regular project status updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Manage project scope changes, assess their impact, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges that may impact project success.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage project budgets to ensure successful completion within allocated resources.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Manage client expectations and drive successful, measurable outcomes for the client.
  • Participate in system training and learn all aspects of system functionality.
  • Provide feedback on products’ features and liaise with Product Teams on products roadmap and requests’ priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to recognize the pain areas and requirements of the customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills including an ability to think independently when faced with challenging questions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written & verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues, customers and partners.
  • Must be a presentable and self-motivated person with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Similar role experience in the Banking sector or with a software vendor is a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic language is a plus.
  • Prince2, PMP or similar Project Management Certification is a plus.
