Universal Stair Parts is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an opening at its manufacturing facility located in Ball Ground, Georgia.  Universal Stair Parts is a division of L. J. Smith, Inc.

L.J. Smith is the largest stair parts manufacturing company in the country. Our continued growth over the past several decades is clearly a result of our leadership role in developing and taking to market new and innovative products and techniques.

L. J. Smith is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a Customer Service Account Specialist in our Universal Stair Parts facility located in Ball Ground, Georgia. This role is critical to the operation.  Duties include customer service, data entry, and filing.

Candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or building industry customer service are preferred. Knowledge of building and millwork related product is a definite plus. Candidates must have the ability to multi-task (using phone while seeking and entering data on the computer) and have at least a high school diploma or GED. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, disciplined, outgoing and personable, have excellent customer relation skills, strong organizational skills and proven keyboarding skill.
