Job Description

As Validation & Verification Manager at Aircraft level, you ensure the proper coordination of all V&V activities in the frame of Aircraft certification. You will work directly attached to the aircraft technical lead engineer and will ensure proper organization and execution of requirements management in the frame of system engineering activities. You have lots of interactions with the different system teams  

Your Role 

Your main activities in this role will be: 

  • To manage and ensure proper delivery of all documents part of the specification tree, 
  • To define processes for validation and verification of requirements,  
  • To define the V&V plan at aircraft level,  
  • To organize reviews of requirements at all levels, 
  • To manage proper baselining of requirements to ensure coherence through all level of specification,  
  • To actively participate to change board to ensure proper implementation of changes, 
  • To coordinate all system engineers’ activities, including the definition of  
  • To ensure proper processes implementation according to Design Handbook (DOA). 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in aviation (or related discipline), 
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in system engineering for complex systems in aerospace, 
  • Experienced in requirements management tools (such as Doors or Integrity), 
  • Good understanding of all technical aspects related to aircraft systems and aircraft flight physics, 
  • Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking, 
  • Excellent communication skills, 
  • Organizing ability as well as high sense of responsibility and accountability, hands-on attitude. 
  • Formal training regarding system engineering is a strong plus (e.g. INCOSE).
