Job Description

  1. Deep dive into Visanet data and conduct comprehensive analysis with critical thinking capabilities, support consumer product team to develop proper strategy and key initiatives for issuers and target consumer segments

  2. Regularly align with key stakeholders of key working streams of strategic projects to ensure the smooth communication

  3. Understand the consumer insights, manage the relationship with key players in the industry, including understanding their new products and strategies, meanwhile act as the subject matter experts to identify proper merchant partner/supplier resources and develop competitive privileges / solutions to support Visa product proposition.

  4. Lead internal functional teams and coordinate external stakeholders (e.g. promotional partners / suppliers) to develop / implement the projects of digitalized privilege platform every year, including: go through the fiscal approval process, onboard merchant partner/supplier if necessary, develop the privilege mechanism, review the UI/UX communication collaterals, collaborate with internal security assessment team on code review and penetration test for new function/system if applicable, and draft the contract etc.

  5. Manage the privileges’ daily operation and afterwards reiteration, including the offer promotion via Visa and issuing banks’ channel, usage monitoring, UI/UX and user journey enhancement, anti-fraud solution etc.

  6. Grasp the knowledge of major Visa consumer solutions and act as the primary subject matter expert to support senior business leader CRM colleague in day-to-day interaction with clients, understand clients’ business insights, identify potential business opportunities, and provide in depth analysis and consultancy in product enhancement to help drive the business goals including CIF (card in force)  and transaction volume etc.

  7. Join in related China market opening project work streams in agile model, cooperate to deliver the preparation work as per guided from the project team, incl. digital partnership development, wallet processing solution etc.

    In addition to own team, the role may need to have contacts with:

  8. Card issuing banks (clients)

  9. Customer Relationship Management teams

  10. Marketing team

  11. Merchant partners, digital solution providers, external merchant offer aggregators

    Other functions like: Operations, Finance, etc.

Qualifications

  1. A bachelor or master’s degree

  2. 5+ years working experience in payment industry

  3. Good knowledge of card payment & processing, digital payment and e-commerce industry

  4. Proven business client-facing experience in financial industry

  5. Proven consumer-facing digitalized project implementation and operation management experience

  6. Fluent Chinese (mandarin) and English in both oral and writing

  7. Good interpersonal and communication skills

  8. Major in Finance, Business Administration, CS, EE, Mathematics is preferred

  9. Experience of product management card issuing bank or card scheme is preferred
