G2 is seeking smart, independent thinking software engineers to join our expanding engineering team. Individuals in this role will work on a wide variety of maintenance and new development projects, providing numerous opportunities for growth.  Successful candidates will be well versed in multiple technology stacks, and capable of developing new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• The ability to actively collaborate with a diverse set of both local and remote team members in a productive and organized manner.
• Participate in all lifecycle phases of software development projects, from inception and design, implementation and testing through to release prep and documentation. 
• Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team.
• Write automated unit, system and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines.  
• Participate in code reviews in an effort to improve code quality.  
   

• 2-5 Years of Software Development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience 
• Experience with one or more modern static language such as Java, C++, or C# (we use Java)
• Experience with one or more modern dynamic language such as Ruby or Python 
• Motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
• Experience with both relational and document based datastores
