Job Description

Our VIS Claims (ClaimSearch) business is looking for a Learning Experience Designer who will have a significant role in the identification, development, creation, and implementation of self-paced and traditional training and education content to our customers and internal staff. They will work alongside internal and external partners to design new learning experiences while reimagining existing product training.
 

Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
•    Conduct needs analysis to identify learning and performance objectives, build competency mapping, and evaluation and assessment strategies
•    Develop instructional materials for a blended learning experience to include content authoring and evaluation measurement 
•    Scope, design, develop interactive eLearning, electronic job aides, and instructor-led course materials
•    Independently create eLearning course modules using the latest design software and tools for rapid development
•    Produce bite size learning assets including videos, graphics, gamification elements, and quick reference guides
•    Maintain a balance of innovation and experimentation with sound adult learning theory and instructional design principles 
•    Provide continuous guidance on effective practices in learning delivery including social and peer learning, work-based learning, informal learning, and performance-based learning

Qualifications

•    3 - 5 years of experience in developing eLearning content or instructional design of self-paced training
•    Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional or media design, or related field or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree in education or related field a plus.
•    Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and design methodologies with a track record of practical application in formal and informal contexts
•    Successful record of creating effective learning experiences in the format of microlearning, just-in-time solutions, job aids and infographics, video, and motion graphics
•    Demonstrated proficiency with authoring tools such as Camtasia, iSpring, Captivate, Articulate, or other eLearning authoring software 
•    Exceptional writing, problem solving, and storytelling skills
•    Knowledge of graphic and design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software) for development of multimedia content
•    Passion to work in an environment of continuous improvement
•    Strong time management skills and ability to meet scheduled deadlines
•    Ability to travel within the continental USA
