Job Description

Taylor Stitch has launched CIVIC, a new portfolio brand, and is looking for a brand manager to oversee all operations from brand management to bringing product to market. The main responsibilities will include:

Marketing and Communication

  • Build seasonal strategies from a brand and product standpoint to deliver brand and financial goals.

  • Develop and perfect a full customer journey from UX to delivery to exceed expectations and drive continuous improvement.

  • Iterate, test, analyze and improve.

  • Communication and messaging flow and strategy (community, sustainability, product…)

  • Promotion strategy and execution with cross functional team.

  • Build email and social media plan and drive execution.

  • Work alongside central marketing (performance marketing) to validate the strategies and ensure they are being implemented and optimized.

Partnerships and Collaborations

  • Drive partnership and collaboration strategies.

  • Work with partners on key cross-promo initiatives.

  • Select future partners and drive selection and execution.

  • Pop-up and engagement strategies and execution.

Creative Direction

  • Work alongside Creative Director to drive the creative direction of CIVIC.

  • Build differentiated look & feel from TS and competition.

  • Build differentiated customer experience from TS and competition.

Product

  • Provide an effective feedback loop on what is working and not working in product divesting from losers and investing into winner.

  • Work alongside TS shared services team to ensure inventory levels match demand.

  • Create a CX (Customer Experience) process, mirroring TS, to keep exceeding customers’ expectations

Community Engagement, Advocacy, and Sustainability

  • Work alongside leadership to build the right give back and overall sustainability action plan.

  • Ideate and develop a public transportation give-back program, first at SFO and then scaling to other hubs. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Passion and some experience in building narratives directed towards an audience.

  • Digital savvy individual with passion and knowledge for e-commerce.

  • Intellectually curious.

  • Deep-rooted belief in the importance of sustainability.

  • 2-5 years of working experience.

You are passionate and driven to win, you thrive in a fairly unstructured startup environment and you are comfortable with ambiguity. You are a team player and may have played sports either endurance or team which give you a driven-to-win attitude which is needed in a startup. You believe that business can be a source of social change as well as a source of economic wealth.
