Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician I, you are responsible to perform various tasks, as necessary, to produce, assemble ultra-high pressure component parts and assemblies.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble basic and complex sub-assembly components using assembly drawings.
• Inform Lead of process improvements to drawings or assembly which effect form, fit, and function.
• Using the work instructions, identify the correct tools and equipment necessary to perform the assigned work.
• Perform assigned tasks meeting or exceeding time standards.
• Learn basic principles of production cells, line and processes.
• Maintain company equipment, tools and shop area to department specifications and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Must be self-motivated and able to recognize when guidance or direction is needed.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate level of analytical and mechanical ability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast paced complex work environment.

Education and/or Training:
• High School graduate or equivalent experience and training (GED).
• 0-1 year of experience with manufacturing assembly techniques.
