Job Description

As Freight Coordinator, you are responsible for all coding, processing and escalation of freight billings and defects.

• Provides guidance and assistance to other departments within the local organization, working closely with shipping, purchasing, sales and project management.
• Provides order entry, rate quotes, price inquiries and general questions / customer service for International FLOW divisions.
• Coding and forwarding of freight billing records to teams internally.
• Works closely with accounting and freight carriers on any processing issues.
• Filing freight claims with carriers as needed, following through on processing.
• Performs other related duties as applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and gain comprehensive knowledge of Flow product lines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organization skills.
• Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient with computers utilizing Windows based programs.
• High level of proficiency with Excel.
• A combination of manufacturing and freight forwarding experience a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Past experience with Freight Carriers (LTL, Small Parcel, etc.)

Education:

High school diploma
