Job Description

Apex Exchange is a Publicis Groupe agency focused on delivering efficiencies and unique opportunities to our clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the SVP, Local Broadcast, you will be responsible for leading media buying across TV (Efficiency and Local Broadcast) for all client business in the US.

You will work alongside another SVP of Local Investment (primary responsible for OOH, Print and Radio) to co-manage and mentor a team with varying levels of experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Vision, Strategy and Approach

  • Leadership and strategic development of the local TV marketplace strategies, delivery of brand insight and strategy, POVs etc.
  • Vision and implementation of approach/structure to deliver the best results


Leading Day to Day Operations, Talent and P&L Operations

  • Lead, be accessible and inspire the team
  • Contribute to talent succession planning
  • Capable in building stewardship – ensure proper transition and learning materials/agenda are in place
  • Must have ability to influence and build credibility at senior management level


Strategic and Cross Media Negotiations

  • This role will need to build, grow and nurture relationships
  • Requires a pulse and involvement in all negotiations– must be aware and involved as needed

Qualifications

•    Ability to lead with confidence, hunger and breadth; capable of taking business and marketing objectives and translating them into vision, strategy and approach for the future
•    Strong listening skills, people management experience, and a collaborative spirit
•    Experience in Local TV strategy & activation (DRTV and Trade experience is a plus)
