Job Description

As the Senior Analyst Research you will be an integral part of our cross-platform research efforts for Publicis Media, supporting all affiliated clients and agency brands. You will work across research disciplines to deliver strategic and actionable analysis for a diverse set of stakeholders. Based in our New York office, this role will be global in nature, servicing domestic and international markets.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior team members and other groups within the organization to address emerging trends in media and aid in the evaluation of new media channels
  • Develop and maintain relevant reports around platform adoption, viewership and consumption through syndicated and proprietary tools
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with agency partners and collaborate with them in designing/testing/analyzing quantitative research studies
  • Prepare customized client presentations, evaluating and presenting insights on the current media landscape, emerging trends, and media/product usage metrics
  • Develop and write topical POVs (Points of View) to address the agency’s position on media and client-related issues.
  • Become an expert in go-to media tools and a resource for cross-agency client teams
  • Collaborate with senior management to write agency’s worldwide publications, including Zenith’s Mobile Forecasts

Qualifications

  • A passion for media research
  • Proficiency in key media tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore)
  • A self-starter spirit with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work multiple project deadlines
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • A sense of humor
  • 2-3 years’ media research experience at an agency or content company 
  • Advanced MS- Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Excellent analytical, written and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of media research sources and terminology across multiple media sources
  • Experience using data and deliverable software across media channels for research purposes
  • Undergraduate degree required
