At Olsson, we help our clients navigate through complicated regulatory processes and proactively comply with federal, state and local regulations. We provide our clients with the latest and best methods of documentation and help provide efficient and cost-effective solutions to complex problems. As a member of the Field Operations team, you will be responsible for conducting stormwater compliance inspections in the Omaha, NE area. Inspection data must be entered electronically through online database systems, in a timely manner and be carefully reviewed prior to submittal. You may also be asked to complete online or in-person records searches, draft project memos and reports and assist design engineers with field observations as needed.  Work will be performed in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

You bring to the team:

• Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Engineering, or related subject
• 3+ years of experience pertaining to construction, erosion control, environmental compliance or related work
• Ability to accurately interpret construction plans, specifications and details
• Current CISEC, CESSWI or CPESC certifications a plus
• Working knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations and local stormwater and/or erosion and sediment control ordinances
• Working knowledge of the Permix system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
