Job Description

You have the opportunity to advance your healthcare career at New England Donor Services by joining a dynamic, professional team whose mission is to save and enhance lives through tissue donation.  

As a Tissue Recovery Specialist you will become a member of a professional team working in a surgical setting where you will be trained to surgically remove bones, skin, veins, corneas and heart valves from deceased donors, developing your technical skills in ways you never imagined possible. 

Schedule
As a full time employee you will be on-call for 7 shifts (2 shift is 12 hours on-call and 5 shifts are 24 hours on-call) within a 14 day period. Shifts start at 10:00am or 10:00pm. The work schedule is varied and includes overnights, some holidays and every other weekend. 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, disciplined, detail oriented, independent, adaptable, team oriented and possess the stamina required to succeed in this intense and rewarding clinical setting. 

•Associates degree or minimum 2 years professional experience

•Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Must have valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

•Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

•Must live within 1 hour from Waltham, MA
