Job Description

Provides administrative and project support to the designated department manager(s). This includes coordinating projects, scheduling appointments, providing department communication, meeting planning and overall data management.

Composes and distributes department communications including newsletters, updates, articles, etc.

Coordinates manager’s schedule and makes appointments, when appropriate.

Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.

Coordinates and arranges meetings, conference calls or webinar access, prepares agenda, prepares meeting materials, reserves and prepares facilities and records, transcribes and distributes meeting minutes.

Prepares for submission of time sheets, expense reports and invoice information for services rendered.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing work priorities.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive data.

Proficient use of office equipment including but not limited to personal computer, fax machine, calculator, photo copier, scanner and telephone.

This position requires proficiency in computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook , Databases, PowerPoint electronic mail and ability to learn NEDS' internal systems.


SCHEDULE
Full-time, non-exempt position at 40 hours per week. Follows assigned work schedule which may vary based on the needs of the organization.
