Job Description

New England Donor Services (NEDS) is seeking a Community Coordinator to implement and maintain effective outreach programs to increase awareness of organ and tissue donation within minority communities. Our Community Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships to improve donation registration and rates within local communities. By partnering with our hospital development teams, the Community Coordinator will create and implement community outreach programs for hospitals. This position will primarily provide support for the Greater Boston area. 


Schedule
This position is exempt at 40 hours per week. Must have flexibility to attend events on nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience in hospice care, bereavement counseling, pastoral counseling and social work preferred

CPE, Social Work License preferred

Valid state driver’s license required

Must have reliable transportation

Must have ability to present information effectively and problem solve

Must be empathetic, compassionate, professional

Must have superior written and verbal communication skills
