Job Description

The position

Are you looking to work in a faced paced multicultural environment? Join our existing financial team and help improve the financial processes in our startup.

As a junior accountant, your initial responsibilities will evolve as MindMaze grows. These initial responsibilities will be:

  • Balancing accounts and preparing balance sheets;
  • Processing receipts, sales invoices, and payments;
  • Ensuring that accounts are accurately monitored;
  • Maintaining financial records which accurately record the business’ incoming and outgoing finances;
  • Completing VAT return forms;
  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.

Qualifications

Essential skills:

  • Minimum Swiss CFC d’employé de commerce (avec Maturité) or equivalent;
  • 2-3 years experience as an accountant in a commercial company in Switzerland;
  • Experience working with multiple currencies (Euro, Dollar, British Pound,among others);
  • Minimum B2 level in English;
  • Minimum C2 level in French;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word;
  • Strong Knowledge of accounting systems (Microsoft Navision a plus);

Icing on the cake:

A good command of German.
