About you

We are now looking for a Finance Controller to the Finance & Administration department. We offer a challenging and inspiring role where you will have the possibility to be a part of a great team working together to support the business in the best way possible. You will also have the opportunity to learn new things at the same time as you contribute with your knowledge and expertise!

To be successful in this position, you will need a Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent and relevant working experience within the field. You are very good in gaining insight through analysis, identifying and finding ways to address and improve processes and operations.

We also believe that you have a good understanding of Swedish accounting basics and the relevant financial systems used within IKEA, preferably Coda and Qlikview.

As a person you are driven, structured and have the curiosity and ability to question and challenge always with cost efficiency in mind. You deliver pragmatic and timely results to the business with a service-oriented approach. You have good communication skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders, at all levels of the organization. 

About the job

Growth and long term profitability is one of IKEAs key business objectives. Finance & Administration department at IKEA of Sweden has the important role of making sure we are a cost conscious company; setting the budget frames, taking part in deciding on resource allocation and supporting the organization in the budget work, cost follow up, forecasting and financial controlling/projects. Securing that our financial and administrative process and routines are documented and communicated. Finance & Administration is responsible for securing that IKEA of Sweden lives up to contractual liabilities from a legal, accounting and internal control perspective.

About the assignment

You will support our business with budgeting, forecasting, follow-up and reporting for IKEA of Sweden and its subsidiaries.

You will be the analyzer, translator and presenter of financial reports to the different stakeholders.

You will work with project and general cost controlling is also part of your assignment.

You will be the speaking partner and support the line organization within our area of competence.
