You are good at simplifying and take things down to the core, as well as outlining a strategic direction and anchoring the roadmap.   • Strong communication and change management skills and are actively building trustful relationships and networks with people
  • You are solution oriented and have a commitment to the users and customers with energy to champion their needs 
  • You have good knowledge of Supplier Management and contract management.
  • You have a strong interest and have at least 5 years’ experience working with HR Processes and Digital Business Solutions within a large international organisation

About the assignment
In the role of Solution Area Manager you are end-to-end accountable for the HR & Competence portfolio of solutions that support capabilities, allowing effective and efficient business operations. These need to be fully aligned with the business and process priorities, as well as developed, supported and maintained in an effective and cost-conscious manner. In the job you will:

  • Be accountable for continuous improvement and overall performance of the Business Solutions expressed in quality, user satisfaction, sustainability and cost
  • Manage the short and long term portfolio plan in co-operation with the process leaders in the business
  • Deliver results by leading, developing, coaching and empowering co-workers to perform and grow according to agreed goals
  • Stay up-to-date with HR trends and development in the Business Solution Area and stimulate innovation and agile ways of working
  • Contribute to and implement common ways of working and collaborate with stakeholders related to Digital Frameworks, IT Operations and Shared Services, Suppliers and Business and Process leaders
  • Secure strong interdependent leadership, connecting the area to the totality of business solutions in IKEA

The position is full time (40 hours) and is based in Delft in the Netherlands. You will report to the HR & Competence manager and you will work closely with the other Business Solution Areas and the Digital Buisness Unit.
