About the assignment
We are looking for an IT Architect Infrastructure to join our IT Operations and Shared Services team.

The IT Architect Infrastructure takes lead to ensure the delivery excellence of IT architecture infrastructure that supports many different business solutions across the IKEA business. You do so in close co-operation with key stakeholders, digital architects, business solution area architects, IT infrastructure service responsible, IT service owners and IT project leaders. 

In this position you will be responsible to lead the definition and development of the target IT infrastructure landscape, which is based on business ambitions and leverages on existing IT platforms. You will lead the creation and implementation of IT architecture infrastructure blueprints and high level design of IT services. You will support the implementation via the development of roadmaps, standards and guidelines. You will also support the digital innovation journey with new information technologies and enable us to meet the many people and explore new opportunities to develop a future-proof IKEA. 

Your main responsibilities are to: 

• Define and maintain technology standards in the area of IT infrastructure that reflects business directions, digital strategies and technological opportunities.
• Lead the creation of a target IT infrastructure landscape reflecting todays and future need of business solutions in close alignment to target digital architecture.
• Participate in the creation of roadmaps and design principles describing the transition of the current IT infrastructure landscape to the future target landscape.
• Ensure that the business value of the target IT infrastructure landscape is well understood and used in the decision-making process. Ensure simplified communication through clearly defined architectural blueprints.
• Establish and manage the governance process for IT architecture infrastructure. 

The position is full time (40 hours per week) and is based in Delft, the Netherlands. You will report to the IT Manager. Relocation support is available if needed.
