Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is the owner of the IKEA Concept and the worldwide IKEA franchisor. Our assignment to continuously develop the IKEA Concept and to ensure its successful implementation in existing and new markets.

At the Store Design and Retail Architecture department, our task is to design new IKEA stores worldwide. We work on a variety of projects in many different countries. From stand-alone stores in the
US to stores connected to shopping centres in Russia and stores in a city centres in Germany. The traffic situation around each store is unique and we want to make sure that the many people can reach our stores, whether they come by bike, by public transport, by car or by any other means of transport.

you like to work in an open-minded and international environment? Then we are looking for you!

We are looking for an intern/trainee for at least 6 months at our office in Helsingborg,
preferably starting from the first of September 2017.

During your internship you will be part of our traffic and parking specialists team in our Store Design and Retail Architecture department. You will support the projects with:

• case studies

• read traffic reports and propose conclusions

• make parking layout sketches and detailed CAD drawings.

• recommend infrastructure improvements

• work with AutoTurn

You study in the field of traffic engineering or civil engineering. You have interest or experience in urban planning, infrastructure and mobility management. You are socially skilled and can work independently. You speak and write English fluently.
