ABOUT YOU

You are a strong hands-on leader who knows how to lead through people. You are passionate about developing and inspiring your co-workers and, together with your team, you provide our customers with a fun and hassle free shopping experience in our store.

You:

 Have a minimum of 2 years experience in leading people;

• Are self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a larger team;

• Have the ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver;

• Have the ability to prioritise and organise your work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of the time available;

• Have checkout service experience gained in the retail industry;

• Have good analytical skills;

• Communicate confidently and clearly in Dutch and English.


ABOUT THE JOB

The IKEA Delft Store is now looking for a Checkout Services Team Leader, reporting to the Checkout Services Manager Customer Relations.

In your role as a Checkout Services Team Leader you support the entire Customer Relations team. Your aim is to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again. We use the IKEA tools and expertise of our colleagues to support us in achieving this.

You contribute to a fast and efficient checkout service for our customers which is cost-effective for the IKEA store. Our customers are guided to the appropriate checkout, you follow up on the queuing policy and waiting times in the check-out area and take action to ensure we keep the agreed goals. You ensure that our store is a safe and secure environment at all times for customers and co-workers.
