• A degree in Information Technology or similar
• First & second line support and service management experience
• IKEA Business processes, ITIL and Service Management tools
• IT Infrastructure including wired and wireless network protocols and standards
• Database management systems (Access, SQL and Oracle)
• Microsoft operating systems environment, management and administrative tools e.g. AD, SCCM, cloud services e.g. Office365
• Apple computers operating system administration and application deployment
• Smart devices, hardware and applications (IOS/Android/Windows)
• Linux (Open VMS), digital signature solutions and general computer hardware
• Project management processes; scope, time, cost, risk, quality, communication, procurement and how to integrate these processes. PPS Project methodology
• Ability to communicate clearly and create alignments
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

IKEA Digital Business, a support unit within Inter IKEA Systems, has the assignment to run reliable information technology operations, enable business development to grow and lead the digital transformation towards a better IKEA – designed for the future.

Digital business solutions are a strategic challenge that brings value by enabling how the IKEA people learn, do and interact. It is a foundation to support our ambitious business agenda across the units.

About the assignment
In this position you will be providing professional end user support in a core user centric environment. You will work together with a team of specialists located in various office locations (countries). You will be responsible for supporting end users in our office in Delft and the Delft Store. You will be supporting devices including but not limited to Smartphones, workstations, notebooks, printing solutions, dect telephone systems, wireless networks, databases and many more.

This includes the following key tasks and responsibilities:

• Receive, register, analyse, prioritise, assign, follow up and solve incoming user support requests
• Take ownership for all support requests from different support channels.
• Perform daily tasks according to set processes, rules and guidelines.
• Take an active role in problem, change and life cycle management
• Create, maintain and share knowledge and standard solution within the team
• Prepares written documentation and instructions for customer use in an operational setting
• Review approving support handover of new services or solutions
• Be involved in activities representing IT User Support
• Ensure that we surpass our end-user's experience

The position is based in Delft, the Netherlands. You will be reporting to the team manager in IT User Support department.
