We are currently seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Manager Human Resources - Team lead HR DACH (m/f/d) to join our Human Resources team in the DACH region. You will be part of the Europe North & Central team and manage a team of two HR Business Partners based in Germany.

Duties & Tasks:

  • Partnership: Partner closely with business leaders to provide comprehensive HR advise, covering various generalist HR issues.
  • Hands-On Approach: Take a hands-on approach to address everything from administration to coaching conversations, actively contributing to the transformation of our HR organization.
  • Global Policy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of global best practices and policies, emphasizing solution-oriented strategies.
  • HR Shared Services: Work with our HR Services team to enhance and develop our HRSS offering, ensuring efficient and effective support to the organization.
  • Transformation Projects: Partner with the North Central European HR team and Centers of Excellence on transformation projects, coordinating and delivering within the Market Units.
  • Work Council Management: Manage Work Council negotiations, offering guidance and coaching to navigate through change and transformation effectively.
  • Operational: Provide proactive and reliable operational and advisory support to the organization, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Change Management: Drive change initiatives across all levels within the organization, promoting a positive and adaptive work environment.
  • Data and Systems Management: Champion best practices in data and systems management, contributing to the continuous improvement of our HR systems and practices.
  • Team Development: Upskill the team to enable them to assist on various topics such as Work Council negotiations, litigations, performance issues, etc.
  • Coordination and Project Management: Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to coordinate tasks, manage HR teams, and oversee projects across geographies.
  • Influence and Initiative: appreciate business needs and influence managers to implement initiatives and changes in HR practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Professional Skills: Strong knowledge of German and Swiss labor law, typically 8 years of experience in HR with proven history as an HRM or Business Partner
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and German.
  • Interactive Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to build strong relationships, energize teams, and execute tasks effectively.
  • Team Orientation: Strong team working skills, ability to partner with multiple teams, and contribute to team effectiveness.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Self-motivated, innovative, excellent planning and organizing skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, customer-focused, commercial awareness, flexible, positive outlook, and solution-oriented mindset.

Additional Information

IFS offers a hybrid working model, however, for this role we would like you to work from the office for at least 2 days per week.
