Job Description

IFS is looking for a proven, senior enterprise software business leader to support a group of named key accounts in assigned territories across Asia.  You would be working as part of IFS Global Aerospace & Defence team and part of the local Market Unit within a Matrix organisation.  

Independently recognized as a leading, global supplier of enterprise software specifically designed for the A&D market, we provide solutions for:

  • Aerospace and defense manufacturing
  • Commercial aviation
  • Defense
  • Fleet and asset management
  • Military logistics
  • Services and performance-based logistics

The position will give you the opportunity to lead new sales opportunities within and manage existing complex engagements within the client customer as well as developing relationships within the broader defence supply chain community. In this position you will be responsible generating revenue from license and maintenance sales, lead the execution of the sales cycle, sell directly to executive level decision-makers, and develop the territory by nurturing  existing IFS business partnerships as well as new relationships.

  • Prepare, update and own the Key Account  Strategy 
  • Own the end to end sales process from customer engagement, understating the customer needs, customer buying process to owning the RFI/RFP process
  • Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction across IFS service delivery
  • Coordinate with Global Aerospace & Defence Team to build a strong internal  collaboration network and secure appropriate support into region. 

Qualifications

Essential skills/experience:

  • Extensive experience selling complex business software 
  • Proven track record in complex sales at C-level with clients >1B revenue
  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
  • Sales experience in defence or government sector 
  • Strong knowledge of  Aerospace  & Defense Industry
  • Strong oral and written business presentation skills
  • Fluent English

  • Engineering Degree and or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering experience
  • MBA
  • Management consulting experience
