Job Description
About the Opportunity
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist? Do you have a strong commitment to occupation centred practice, education, and research? The Occupational Therapy Discipline at Griffith University adopts a contemporary view of the profession that enables students to become occupation centred, theory-driven, evidence-based based and client centred. In addition to delivering high-quality entry-level education, the Occupational Therapy team at Griffith is building a strong research and publication profile, often in partnership with external collaborators.
We are excited to be expanding our team in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work and have multiple opportunities available either part time or full time at Associate Lecturer, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer appointments.
These roles will be based at either our Gold Coast or Nathan Campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations

About You
We are seeking Occupational Therapists who are eligible for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. You will be committed to occupation centred occupational therapy, the education of student occupational therapists, and an evidence-based approach to practice.
If you are applying for a Senior Lecturer role, you will have a research doctorate in occupational therapy or a relevant field. You are research active and can demonstrate a growing publication and funding profile, as well as be able to demonstrate your experience in occupational therapy education in the higher education sector.
The successful candidates will be team players, and thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment where you can demonstrate your creativity in solving challenges. You are committed to lifelong learning and education and are passionate about the importance of inspiring the next generation of occupational therapists in enhancing the health of individuals, communities and populations.
Opportunities like this do not come up often, so if you are looking for a rewarding career change and want to work with a fantastic team at one of Australia's leading universities; we welcome your application!
