The role of the Developer Evangelist is to assist in driving innovation capabilities across functions and geographies to deliver better business results. They formulate technical strategy and establish a coalition of individuals across business units, functions, and geographies to improve the execution of all types of innovation. The Developer Evangelist can quickly grasp key concepts of new and disruptive technology and to be perceived to be leading the way while assessing and creating a value proposition to the marketplace.

Deliverables Essential Duties:

• Assist the VP in communicating and implementing a company's strategy internally and externally so that all employees, partners, suppliers, and contractors understand the company-wide strategic plan and how it carries out the company's overall goals.
• Displaying a deep understanding of technology and seen as a companywide SME, the evangelist will be able to analyze technologies and platforms quickly.
• Establishing and reviewing key strategic technologies and providing rapid proof of concepts and prototypes.
• Monitoring the execution of proof of concepts with a cross functional/organizational team
• Facilitating and driving key technology initiatives through inception phase. - Ensuring departmental/unit alignment with chosen Grantek technology
  platforms
• Partnering with special committees, and consultants to support execution of the main technical initiatives.
• Mobilizing and managing teams of technical SME’s charged with executing proof of concepts.
• Acting as a resource across an organization to increase broad cohesion for technical plans. -
• Internal and External Evangelism
• Customer facing role; performs voice of customer process
• Partnering with institutional leadership, special committees, and consultants to support execution of key initiatives. Must be a quick start individual who understands software product development and process.
