Job Description

This position leads our efforts to develop and deliver our expertise in the Aviation and Aerospace industry.  The focus of this job is executing a strategy supporting Sales, developing Product and Service solutions and creating training.  This is a Regional based position, reporting to the Director of Sales in MAIR. The job is be based in Dubai.

 

Responsibilities:

·Design and implement solutions tailored specifically to the Aviation and Aerospace industry

·Collaborate with  Product, Geo and Service leaders to create and execute programs regionally

·Develop and execute a strategic plan  for leveraging our existing capabilities

·Identify target accounts and work with the network to secure new business

·Assume a joint leadership role in securing global target accounts

·Develop training and educational materials for Sales and Operational staff in support of complex supply chain needs in  Aviation and Aerospace

·Support and collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Executives, and global geographic management for knowledge sharing, qualified account visits, program recommendations, implementation support, and remain actively involved in customer retention and development

·Continuous growth in revenue

·Assess and define the scope of the Asia Aviation and Aerospace market as it will apply to Expeditors

·Understand our position in the market today in geographies, products and services 

·Identify current Expeditors products and services that are required by the Aviation and Aerospace  industry and how to properly position them for the industry.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

·In-depth knowledge or at a minimum 5 years of experience in a major segment of the Aviation and Aerospace industry

·Experience as a provider of logistics services to the Aviation and Aerospace industry highly desirable 

·Proven performance and success selling supply chain services and/or solutions to the Aviation industry highly desirable

·Direct experience managing supply chain services for Aviation and Aerospace company highly desirable

·Frequent travel to district offices.

·Management skills to organize and drive initiatives

·Strong Expeditors’ cultural attributes, especially customer focus, ownership and teamwork

·Ability to communicate well at many different levels in the organization and across geographies

·Fluent in English.
