Job Description

To assist management in defining the business and revenue growth targets. Form the business development strategy and plan. Explore the business opportunity and penetrate the potential customers. Build up trust and relationship with the customers. Sustain customer relationship and develop the customer organically.

  1. To define business and revenue growth targets and market share objectives for Chinese business opportunities.
  2. To develop strategies and business (sales & marketing) plans to achieve these set goals.
  3. To work jointly with sales, account management and other teams to develop selling tools including routing guides, pricing guidelines, end-to-end solutions, presentable deliverable.
  4. Proactively explore and identify business opportunities and collaborate with the network to land the new logos.
  5. To develop and sustain the relationship with business partners and decision-makers.
  6. To perform quantitative and qualitative SWOT analysis covering the market size, trends, market characteristics and competitor activities.
  7. To own the program and report performance to the management on a regular basis.
  8. To travel when necessary for providing support and development within the Region.
  9. To perform additional duties as assigned by the management to meet the future development.

Qualifications

University graduate in logistics or related disciplines.  Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in shipping/logistics industry. Excellent command of communication and interpersonal skills.  Travel is required.

Additional Information

1. No more than normal physical effort or positional stress required. Intermittent walking, sitting or standing with normal expenditure of energy.

2. No more than occasional exposure to one or more unpleasant or to somewhat hazardous conditions.

3. Extensive travel may be required.
