Job Description

The Regional Recruiting Manager will oversee the field and corporate recruiting efforts for all the Equinox West Region. This is a field driven role focused on implementing and utilizing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates and drive high volume recruiting in a fast-paced business.  The Regional Recruiting Manager will partner closely with key leaders in our West Region to assess hiring needs and identify opportunities for process improvement. This position will manage, mentor, and inspire a team of field recruiters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop relationships with Equinox field leaders on our Personal Training, Sales and Operations teams to create and execute recruitment strategies, assess recruiting needs and identify key recruitment issues
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters responsible for executing Personal Trainer and Membership Advisor recruitment  
  • Directly provide full life cycle recruitment for Assistant General Manager positions
  • Partner with Regional Vice President and Human Resources/People Services leaders to develop strategic initiatives on new club opening planning and recruitment
  • Partner with field leaders to create, execute and lead recruiting events
  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house recruiting tools to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Identify and recommend recruitment strategy for all assigned open positions and communicate strategy with hiring managers, leverage online recruiting resources and in-house recruiting tools to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Create job descriptions and detailed search assignments and gain an understanding of job duties, responsibilities and business requirements
  • Provide guidance to management and associates on employment policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders
  • Work with field to coordinate and conduct applicable training programs
  • Performs all other duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle and high-volume recruiting experience supporting a field-based business
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team
  • Outstanding organization skills to manage candidates, clients and the team
  • Sense of urgency to meet the demands of our fast-past environment
  • Outstanding eye for talent – image, proven success, attitude and cultural fit are all huge factors in selecting the right talent 
  • Ability to interact and influence senior operations leaders
  • Proven experience with sourcing, social media recruiting techniques and other current web-based employment strategies
  • Proven success and ability to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives
