Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a multi-disciplined firm of professional engineers, environmental scientists, planners, and landscape architects, is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of professional experience.

Duties include:

• completion of in-depth inspections
• design and detailing of various bridge components
• design calculations
• preparation of bridge design reports
• preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and load ratings on a variety of bridge and large culvert design and inspection projects
  

Candidates should have an accredited B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures. Related internship experience is a plus and registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) in New York (or eligibility to obtain) and the ability to secure the New York State professional engineering license is desired. Applicants should have solid verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact effectively within a project team, including internal team members and client or agency team members.
