B&L specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning and site design, and environmental and facilities engineering. We are looking for bright, motivated candidates to join one of the leading consulting engineering firms in the northeast.

B&L is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Intern in our Syracuse office. This position would be a full-time summer internship, but also continue through the fall/spring semesters as schedules allow. You will need to be a local Syracuse area college student to be able to commute to this internship during the school year.

Work will involve providing Business Office support in the areas of project initiation, billing, accounts payable, payroll and month-end closing procedures; in addition to general ledger review, expense account analysis and other specially-designated projects throughout the calendar year.

The ideal candidate will be completing his/her sophomore or junior year in accounting, finance or a related field, and have a GPA 3.0 or higher. Position requires excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
