For more than 50 years Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., has served the engineering needs of municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast. We are a multi-disciplined firm of professional engineers, environmental scientists, planners and landscape architects with offices in Syracuse, Albany, Rochester, Newburgh, and Watertown, NY, Camp Hill, PA and Lanham, MD. B&L specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning and site design, and environmental and facilities engineering. We are looking for bright, motivated candidates to join one of the leading consulting engineering firms in the northeast.

We are currently seeking an experienced environmental professional/engineer for a full-time position in our Lanham, Maryland office. A seller-doer with experience with municipal, commercial, private and industrial clients is preferred.

Duties primarily include environmental consulting, engineering, and permitting. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Business development, project management, and client communications.

• Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight with regard to most if not all of the types of environmental projects listed below:

• Watershed engineering, modeling and assessment.

• Stream & habitat restoration.

• Stormwater management, MS4 and NPDES permitting and compliance.

• Green infrastructure.

• Remedial investigation & site characterization.

• Environmental compliance evaluations and audits.
  

• Due diligence - Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments/Investigation.

• Petroleum bulk storage compliance.

• Air permitting and compliance.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science with a minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Geologist (P.E. or P.G.) is preferred.
