The opportunity

  • You will be responsible for coordinating distribution activities for our suppliers
  • You will own operational relationships with Distribution Providers, managing their financial and operational performance
  • You will ensure our customers’ requirements are fulfilled at all times while optimizing our own operational efficiency

Job description
As a planner you have to make sure that the recovered paper is transported from the supplier to the nearest port and shipped to our customer in time. The planner is responsible for arranging regular and ad hoc transport of recovered paper in various modalities (truck, barge, rail and/or sea-going vessels). You will communicate daily with internal and external parties to get the result. With over 15 nationalities and activities in 20 countries you will never have a boring day.

What your job actually requires

  • Planning, booking and assigning of outbound cargo shipped to the assigned area
  • Maintaining day to day communications with shipping lines
  • Resolving logistics/transport problems
  • Developing and maintaining good cooperation with external parties
  • Reporting activities

How will you do this?

  • You have good organizational skills
  • Keep the overview while planning is not a problem for you
  • You are a good communicator and not afraid to get on the phone
  • You are stress-resistant: multiple emails, a colleague standing next to you and a ringing phone at the same time do not scare you
  • You are accurate
  • You are a star at MS Office, even with your eyes closed

Qualifications

What we ask

  • Approx. 1-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in logistics or supply chain)
  • A basic understanding of commercial and logistical concepts is a plus
  • You are fulltime available
