Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design & develop business intelligence data models required by analytics applications such as interactive dashboards & ad- hoc reports

• Provide support, maintenance, troubleshooting and performance tuning to current HRC business intelligence applications.

• Develop reporting and executive dashboard applications, and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) applications for HRC business customers. Applications completed this year are: Evaluation Reporting System (ERS formerly Single Evaluation Processing System (SEPS)), Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Service Members (UCX) and Common Operating Picture Synchronizer (COPS)

• COPS Administration in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) which includes application security administration (add/modify remove users, modify access level)

Required education and experience: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of experience with business intelligence products or a Master’s a 3 years of similar experience. 4 additional years of related experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be able to read and write complex SQL (subqueries, unions, inline views, functions).
• Experience Implementing BI solutions using Oracle BI (OBIEE).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (Fee’s reimbursable after starting work)
• Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance at a minimum to begin work. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• JavaScript experience
• Experience with BI toolsets
• BI Publisher report development
• OBIEE performance tuning
• Familiarity with database SQL (particularly Oracle 11g)
