    Job Description

    As part of the Global Brand Protection team, this individual will focus on maintaining brand integrity across online commerce channels within the APAC region.  This includes the removal of infringing products and content from websites, marketplaces, social media, mobile apps and other areas that pose a threat to our business. Success in this role will be highly dependent upon building and maintaining positive relationships with our internal teams and external partnerships. 

    What will you be doing?

    • Maintain online enforcement programs with websites, marketplaces, social media, mobile and other areas that threaten our online business across the APAC region.
    • Partner with the supervisor, home office team and our service providers to implement and maintain an effective online enforcement strategy
    • Incident entry, updates, and analysis
    • Build positive working relationships and develop best practices with key online marketplaces, search engines, social and chat platforms where infringing activity is occurring 
    • Liaise with local law enforcement agencies invested in protecting our IPR online
    • Involvement with local industry organizations and participation in these organizations online working groups
    • Partner with brand protection team members, collaborating on gathered intelligence to build and prioritize higher level investigations
    • Work closely with local ground enforcement team and support those efforts as needed 
    • Maintain communications with the brand protection team and other internal teams to collaborate on strategy and procedural innovation
    • Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by A&F Brand Protection leadership

    What will you need to bring?

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent required
    • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
    • 1-3 years of online anti-counterfeiting experience 
    • Knowledgeable in Intellectual Property Rights enforcement across China and the U.S.
    • Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OSINT and digital photography
    • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and problem solve
    • Must pass a comprehensive background check
    • Must demonstrate an ability to work independently and accomplish team goals without direct, day-to-day oversight 
    • Ability to travel within China approximately once per month and outside of China as needed
