Job Description

About the Role

The Online Marketing Team is responsible for attracting new members from around the world via desktop and mobile campaigns on the main paid online marketing channels (e.g. Facebook, SEA, Display) as well as through organic traffic (e.g. SEO, YouTube). The Online Marketing Intern for SEO & YouTube reports to the senior manager and contributes to the growth of the search channels.

As an Online Marketing Intern for SEO & YouTube at InterNations, you'll:

  • research the specific needs & interests of people living abroad in various countries using a variety of tools and data sources

  • create informative and entertaining posts & articles for them with the help of generative AI tools (OpenAI, Bard, etc.) 

  • get first insights into conceptualizing, creating, and refining informative and entertaining videos for YouTube

  • learn how to manage large quantities of content in content management systems (WordPress)

  • earn Google Analytics, Ads & SEO certifications

Qualifications

You meet the following requirements:

  • you're a university student, completing an internship is a compulsory part of your studies, and youʼre available for at least 3 months in 2024/2025 

  • youʼre not afraid of working with new tools and have good knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft Office and internet applications 

  • you enjoy writing engaging content 

  • youʼre proactive and self-motivated and can work independently in a remote setting 

  • you have native-speaker level written and spoken English
