As a Senior Technical Arttst at Ubisoff Chengdu, you will uttlize your hybrid skills to bridge the worlds of the arttst and programmer, acttng as interpreter, innovator, and problem solver. You will collaborate cohesively and efffciently with Directors in the Art, Technical and Productton teams to deffne the pipelines, tools and workffows needed to support and opttmize art productton. You will be responsible for research, innovatton, and the technical guidance to assist the team in delivering the highest technical quality content without compromising on the arttsttc vision.

Responsibilities

• Deffne, establish efffcient and user-friendly pipelines.

• Build TECH and ART benchmarks according to intentton.

• Collaborate with productton and external teams to improve and opttmize workffows.

• Prepare and update documentatton for content pipelines, tools, features, and workffows.

• Work alongside programmers to prototype and validate features.

• Act as gatekeeper of budgets, Tech Art constraints and data technical compliance.

• Guide and Mentor, the team to foster skill growth and knowledge sharing.

• Opttmize memory and game performance.

职位要求

Shipped multtple tttles as a Technical Arttst (minimum 2 tttles, AAA tttles for console plattorms can be considered as a bonus point.)

• 5+ years of professional art, technical art, or programming experience.

• An aptttude and drive for innovatton, collaboratton, decision making and creattve problem solving.

• Experience in real-ttme digital art content creatton and arttsttc workffows.

• Proven technical skills in proffling, performance, and opttmizatton.

• Proffciency in 2D/3D art soffware (Photoshop, Substance Designer, ZBrush, 3DS Max, Maya, Houdini).

• In-Depth knowledge of game engines (Proprietary, Unreal, Unity).

• Understanding of scripttng languages (Python, C#, Max Script).

• Expert level proffciency in one or more areas of game development (Modelling & Texturing, Physics simulattons, Destructton, VFX, Lighttng, Rendering, Post Processes, Procedural, Rigging and Animatton, Shaders).

• Leadership and people management experience.

• Excellent communicatton (Chinese and English), interpersonal, mentorship and presentatton skills.
