Job Description

The Operations and Administration Director oversees the management and optimization of our North American office environments. This includes property management, leasing, and leading the design and functionality of our office spaces to reflect company goals and cultural best practices. In this role, you will lead operational teams, enhance service delivery, and coordinate office-based company events to foster a productive and engaging workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of real estate assets, ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that office spaces are safe, efficient, and conducive to creativity and collaboration.
  • Work closely with senior management to align office functions, ensuring all operational activities support teams growth and performance.
  • Promote a positive company culture by cultivating a welcoming, engaging, and collaborative workplace that supports and inspires our employees.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing property management, leasing, and building operations.
  • Manage and oversee leasing operations, including negotiations, renewals, and tenant communications.
  • Oversee budget development and manage operating expenses for properties under management, ensuring alignment with financial goals and organizational objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring optimal terms, quality of service, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations staff, and manage operations projects as needed..
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that all day-to-day operations, projects, and initiatives are executed within budget while upholding CDPR's standards and values.
  • Collaborate with key partners to ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources from day one.
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision to ensure the operations team delivers an exceptional and inclusive experience for all employees and visitors. From creating outstanding first impressions when entering our office to enhancing the overall employee journey through events and workplace support, this role is pivotal in shaping a vibrant and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in operations and administration, property and real estate management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate finance, leasing, property management, renovation, and budgeting practices.
  • Familiarity with local and national real estate laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prior experience in game development, entertainment or other creative industries is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and senior management, tenants, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
